The Sensex closed on Friday at 20103.53 up 179.75 points while the Nifty closed at 6074.65 up 55.30 points.
The top five Sensex gainers were Maruti, Jindal Steel, Bajaj Auto, Sterlite and Sun Pharma. The top five losers were Tata Power, Bharti Airtel, Coal India, NTPC and Hero MotoCorp.
