The Sensex and the Nifty bounced back and closed in the green today. The Sensex gained 173.65 points to close at 18804.75 while the Nifty gained 55.90 points to close at 5708.05.
The top five Nifty gainers were PNB, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, DLF and JP Associates. The top five Nifty losers were Ultratech, Ambuja, Lupin, Cipla and Maruti.
