The Sensex closed today at 18505.38 up 74.53 points while the Nifty closed at 5619.70 up 21.80 points.
The top five Nifty gainers were Hindalco, Maruti, Tata Motors, Cipla and Sesa Goa while the top five losers were Reliance Infrastructure, GAIL, BHEL, ONGC and Ultratech Cement.
