The benchmark indices the Sensex and the Nifty ended Monday's session flat owing to profit taking.
The Sensex closed at 18762.87 up 7.42 points and the Nifty closed at 5704.20 up 6.50 points.
The top five Sensex gainers were ITC, Dr.Reddy's, Maruti, Cipla and BHEL while the top five losers were Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Tata Power, Jindal Steel and Tata Steel.
