The Sensex gained 56.32 points to close at 18561.70 today while the Nifty gained 22.80 points to close at 5642.50.
The top five gainers (Sensex) were Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, Cipla and M&M while the top five losers were HUL, ONGC, ITC, GAIL and HDFC Bank.
