The Indian equities end the session flat with Sensex closing at 18618.87 down 51.47 points and the Nifty closing at 5666.95 down 16.75 points.
The top five Sensex gainers were Bharti Airtel, Maruti, ONGC, Cipla and Tata Steel while the top five losers were Tata Motors, Dr.Reddy's, SBI, HDFC and Infosys.
