The Sensex closed the session at 18339.00 up 29.63 points while the Nifty closed at 5571.40 down 2.65 points.
The top five Sensex gainers were Maruti, Bharti Airtel, ITC, Bajaj Auto and M&M. The top five losers were Tata Power, TCS, Tata Steel, GAIL and Dr.Reddy's.
